Disabling Pharming Protection

Hello everyone, hope everyone is well.

We currently just moved to a new exchange server and are having issues with our SSL VPN users being unable to run Microsoft Outlook while having their tunnel connected. Right now I have users temporarily using the OWA application but I'd rather they are able to use Outlook itself, I know if I disable Pharming Protection, the problem is resolved but at what risk, is there possibly another solution that doesn't increase security concerns?

Thank you.

  • Sorry for the delay, thank you for the reply. I see this feature was put into a vote 2 years ago and still no resolution to the actual problem, there have to be more Sophos XG users with this setup so I'm curious if they just live with the problem. We just moved from Exchange 2011 to 2019 but we didn't have this issue before so possibly more security measures are now in place on the Exchange side that I may need to forward.
