How to enable SMTP

Hi, we just changed to an XG125 and now we can't get our scanner to send scanned documents by email. We also have a Diskstation locally where all have their own login. Now Diskstation can't send emails to people that need to change passwords. I assume that SMTP is blocked but can't find out how to enable SMTP so our local services work again.

Is there a guide on how to do this?

Thanks,
Robert

    Hi

I would recommend referring the given articles for office 365 setup.

    Hi Keyur,

This is almost too advanced for us but will try. I have done some reading on the two links from you. I have done method 1 in the KB132291 but this didn't solve the problem. I imported all exceptions and have activated all recommended without luck.

For KB132416 I have done the most but when I should add IP hosts I get problems. The link to the list "Exchange Online Protection IP addresses" does not work. Do you know where to find an updated list?

We also have people here that don't belong to our company but work from our office. They can't send out emails at all now, they can receive emails. They use IMAP servers but when sending emails they get a timeout for SMTP.

    Thanks!
