As the subjest states. The PCs onsite had no internet access this morning after the FRDC and additional servers were rebooted after applying some updates. There servers were rebooted at 6am but at 8pm when I arrived onsite these were the issues I was facing:
Some workstations presented the Captive Portal screen when opening a browser.
Some workstations just displayed a blank screne when opening a browser.
Some machines regained connection after the workstation was rebooted but the reboot didn't make any difference.
At around 9am, most PCs managed to get reconnected again. Most without any intervention but this delay was very frustrating.
Does anyone have any ideas as to why this may have happened?
