SSL_Scanning_Certificate not accepted under iOS 13

Hi,

I've got the following Problem:

Since years now we are using HTTPS Decryption and scanning, thats why we have to install the SSL_Scanning_Certificate of the Appliance on iPhones.

We experienced absoloutly no Problems until we upgraded the test iPhone to iOS 13 Beta.

Although the Certificate is installed and enabled as trusted Root Certificate, no HTTPS using app is connecting to the Internet on this iPhone, but displaying Messages About untrusted certificate.

Does anybody have the same Problem?

How to fix this?

Regards

  • Hello All,

As of now, SFOS 17.5.9 MR9 is likely to be released in a month's time but I will confirm the date once I have a definitive answer.

  • I guess this is a bad news for us since Catalina will be release in few weeks time. We are currently having issues with our SSL Decryption now that iOS/iPadOS was already rolled out. Students bypassing firewall due to proxy running under HTTPS protocol.

Was hoping the fix will be release the moment Apple OS updates are available but it seems Sophos did not foresee the great impact on the SSL Decryption feature.
