allow my static ip to be pinged from the internet

Hello ,

i'm new to Sophos and i'm trying to make my static up acceable from the internet from my website server

an example to what i want and have :

i have a router/modem configured with a static ip from my ISP when my router is my default getway with no firewall installed or loadbalancer it works fine and it pings just fine

my lan connection is on port 1 and port 2 have my main connection to my router/modem

after i installed sophos i made it as my default getway and the internet works just fine but the problem is i can't ping my static ip from my website server

i added the server ip in execptions , added my server ip and domain in firewall allow rules but i still can't ping my network from my server

can someone give me an example of how to do it in the right way ?
