Query about SSL Certificate for HTTPS Scanning

Hi Guys,

Lets say i want to enable the https scanning on Sophos XG, but that would require upload of the Sophos certificate to all my systems. 

If i buy a Certificate from a trusted CA then would i still require the certificate to be uploaded on all systems ?
