Application traffic shaping "shared with category"?

Under application traffic shaping settings,  If I apply a policy to an entire category, the individual applications are then listed as "Shared with category"  So If I have a video policy that alllows only 1Mbps, and I apply that to the whole category, does "Shared with category" mean they all divide the 1Mbps amongst them, or are each individual applications set at 1Mbps.

Thanks.

I am hoping that I don't need to go through each application to set the traffic shaping policy, so that each has 1Mbs setting limit.

Your answer is appreciated, but it does not really address the question.   I understand that the choice between bandwidth settings referring to an individual or shared between all users, this, of course, means that if it is set as shared, then all users share that amount, as opposed to each individual getting that amount to use.

But I'm referring to the category settings on the  "traffic shaping default"  I have applied a policy to an entire group of applications, such as if I apply a policy to the entire "Streaming media" category, like 10Mb, Does each individual application get 10Mb, or do all applications share that 10Mb.

The documentation says nothing about this.
