Different licence than that for the specific model

Hi. A colleague gave us an XG210 model as a gift, but since our company is really small, I wonder whether I can buy annual licences for (say) XG85 and apply them on XG210?

Maybe the performance of the hardware will be reduced... but I need to be sure that I can apply a different model's licence and still work.

 

Is this possible?

    Hi,

    no you can't, the licences are hardware based and I wouldn't recommend an XG85. maybe an XG 86 or even the XG106. The XG85 cannot be upgraded to the V18 when it is released.
