Factory reset of XG FIREWALL

Question

If one resets to factory default settings a Sophos XG firewall with an existing license, will it be required to provided a licence on it again when ready to be used again??

Basically the License is attached to the Serial Number. 
 So a factory reset will do nothing to the license. If you reinstall the appliance, XG will contact the licensing server and get the same license as before.
