VPN between different company

Hi, my company (company A) now use sophos XG230 with full guard, and our sister company (company B) plan to use sophos XG210 full guard.

1. can we use sophos vpn between company A and B?

2. if employee from company A with sophos end point, and work on company B office, can they connect the heartbeat to XG on company B?

    Hi,

     

    You could actually build up IPsec, RED VPN or SSL VPN between both locations.

    Its up to you.

    RED would have a slide advantage of being a Layer 2 Tunnel (Cable connected between both facilities).

     

     

    Heartbeat is working with a Certificate. 

    So basically it depends on which Central Admin you are using.

    If both Companies using the same Central Admin Account, Heartbeat will Work.

    But if those Clients are attached to different Central Admin Accounts, HB will not be established.
