exporting logs with winscp

I could not find anything on using WinSCP, but I did find to do anything similar to this is to login to the console via SSH and use the ftpput command to PUSH logs to an FTP server of your choice.  I another post.

I know this is a added feature request at Sophos Ideas as well.

This is another "why" we have become to hate so much XG.

I am not aware of anything else than XG in this universe that does not work "out-of-the-box" with WinSCP.

WinSCP is possible but not supported. I would not recommend ever doing it since it possible can make the console portion (where you choose options 1-5 etc..) of the XG inaccessible until a firmware upgrade/rollback. 

Not mutch choice but to use pscp.exe (Putty) ....

Simply use SCP. 

All SCP Standards are supported.

But not WinScp (they are using different ways to browse, so basically cannot interact properly). XG does not support a Browserbased SCP Client.

I am using pscp or scp on linux. Works fine. 

This might be old but just in case someone else needs it:

You can connect with WinSCP to the XG without modifying the default bash for the "admin" account.

Just go to "Advanced" options and then in SHELL, use "/bin/sh"

That way, you can browse the XG without any issue with WinSCP.
