Where is V18 at?

Hi,

this request for an update on progress is for those of us that do not have access top partners/resllers.

Would some-one in the know who is allowed to provide progress on v18 please add to this thread.

I am not after guesses or conjecture, but real timelines (give or take a month).

    Not sure but I'd like to find out too eventually. I have an XG105 bought only 2 years ago directly from Sophos distributor for a customer. that I just took out of rotation to the others who asked, and I just happened to have upgraded to a 4GB memory DDR3 stick last week before seeing this PDF posted. I've been running home network on it for a week with latest 17.5.8 ad 4GB just fine. I did have to try 2 different sticks of memory for some reason, one stick (brand new) wasn't letting certain things work. Again, this will void warranty in most countries so check your eula.

     

    I am interested in this enhanced reporting and alerting mentioned, please let hostnames work in reports..... lol

     

    I suspect that 17.5 will get a few more releases soon for anyone stuck with 85/105's because things mentioned in that release don't all require XSTREAM capability, such as better alerting/reporting, jumbo frames, vlan on bridge etc.
