HI everyone,
I’m running an XG210 firewall in bridge mode, while we test it’s functionality. Between my LAN and gateway router to our WAN
Everything’s been running ok but a week ago I upgraded from SFOS 17.5 MR5 to MR6, and ALL traffic started taking a very long time to get through the router (http and even ICMP).
Packets that used to take ~450ms round trip started taking ~5500ms round trip! This made the network link perform horribly.
I didn’t make any config changes other than the update – so I can’t see what has caused the slowness.
The Firewall is not set to scan anything yet, just gathering traffic information at this stage.
I can’t find any other posts about this issue. Is it only me? Has anyone any suggestions about how to proceed?
I have subsequently updated again to the 17.5 MR7 update, and the issue hasn’t resolved. So I’ve bypassed the firewall and the latency issues have gone away.
I’m guessing my next step is to roll back to 17.5 MR5?
