query on multi domain on same vlan

Hi guys, just had a query whether it's even possible to have have multiple domains on the same vlan. I see in our config that is setup that we have it set to a specific vlan with the domain, however what we're trying to achieve is get a virtual machine on a different domain but running on physical host located on a second domain. Currently it's very finicky and I have to keep jumping between bridged and NAT mode for it to work sometimes. Is this even possible to stabilise and what would be the correct setup for this?

Do you have the DNS configured for multiple domains correctly? There are multiple concerns with having 2 on the same lan, it can work but the infrastructure aside from the XG needs to be setup. For example: https://serverfault.com/questions/305532/two-different-domains-domain-controllers-on-single-network

Also as rfcat said a sketch or overall picture of what you are trying to do would help.

Thank you for contacting us.

In the XG we do not have such a feature, you can try to configure DNS host entry and add a static route to point specific IPs.

Great tnx to all for the responses. Still working on this one but will respond if i get a solution... basically guys it's nesting a domain within dhcp designated different domain. it does bring about complications indeed :)
