Is TunnelBlick the only option for Mac users to connect to an XG over SSL VPN?

TunnelBlick is very intrusive and requires too much manual handling.

I would like a similar client to that of the Windows equivalent but for Mac. Is TunnelBlick really the only option?

We go with SSL VPN and are authenticating all of our VPN users over LDAP and Active Directory. Works like a charm for Windows. Too much hands-on for Mac.

Thanks!

  • Ok, so Tunnelblick it is then.

But when running the configuration file from Sophos User Area (other OSes), I get notifications that some command line params are not supported (LZ something).

And I can only make the connection work if I run 2.3.18 (OpenSSL 1.0.2r), not with the default 2.4.7 or the latest 2.5. Also, I can't seem to disable sticky passwords (don't want them stored in the key ring) using the "setenv ALLOW_PASSWORD_SAVE 0" command. All this doesn't seem stable enough for me given it's the only supported option...

Or am I doing something wrong?
