Issue while running NMAP Scan

Hello Folks,

I have an interesting problem, NMAP from inside network to internet via sophos XG firewall always highlight 80 and 443 ports open, I have a basic subscription, No web proxy nothing. Please suggest a fix.

I am trying to nmap wan interface of my client's sophos utm firewall.

Hello Folks / Emile,

Further, I observed whatever I scan using NMAP from Inside my office to outside. I always get 80 and 443 ports open.

But these ports are actually closed | filtered port on my office as well as at destination firewall.

As I said in my previous post, I have a basic subscription.

The, I don't understand - why I am getting these ports open during NMAP scan.

Any guideline | suggestion please.

Try other tools.

Start with telnet and wget.

Which content is presented?
