User Permission for Wireless Scheduling

I've got a client who wanted us to enable time-based access on wifi, setting it to shut off whenever they're not normally at their facility.  However, they also want to be able to turn it back on in case they have to work late or on weekends.  I've got the permissions set up right for the user to get to wireless network settings, however they don't seem to have permissions to edit the wireless schedule, even when I give them read/write access to all wireless protection settings.

What's the right permissions to give to edit the schedule, and is it even possible on firmware 17.0.8?  If it isn't but is possible on 17.5.5 this'll give us a good reason to request downtime to patch their firewall finally.

  • Hi

Instead of allowing rights to change an Object, I suggest you create Mulitple objects of Time Based schedule which they should be able to choose in their choice of Wireless networks.

If you want the user to change/edit the existing Wireless schedule, please allow them Read-Write access for Objects. This would allow them to do changes in other objects as well hence I suggest the solution mentioned earlier. Hope this helps.
