Honeywell Security Camera not showing camera feed w/ XG 106

Working with XG 106 and have a Honeywell camera connected using x.x.1.150

Uses Ports 80, 4000, 4002 to connect.  4000 & 4002 UDP & TCP have been added to service called CAMERA

We created business firewall rule (see attached) which is allowing us to connect to the camera using the external address, but none of the camera feed can stream.  If I connect to the office using the VPN and use the local IP, the camera feed stream works.

Issue is the Camera App on phones and straight external feed (minus VPN) won't work.

BTW, before Sophos was put in place, old router allowed Camera Apps to work.  Used same ports (port forwarding) from other router in Sophos when configuring so no ports were missed.

Can anyone determine what I've missed and why the feeds aren't going out?

Thanks!

  • hello,

have you tried following the steps here in this kba for dnat config in xg? https://community.sophos.com/kb/en-us/122976

hope this helps, and please let us know if it works.

    regards,

  • Actually, that was the EXACT article I used to create the rule.  Everything seems to work on getting the connection, but the camera feed just won't come through.  I know I'm communicating with the DVR because when I bring up the public IP in the browser outside of the office, it connects and downloads / installs the Honeywell App just like it does with the internal IP.  The only difference is when I tell it to CONNECT on the app, the camera feeds won't come in.  It's like something on the Sophos is preventing the stream out and only the stream.
