Hi Paul,
thank you for the link. I have installed the update including the AP update which did not appear to have any affect on m y AP55s.
The update process shows thew stupidity of the who ever thought it up and I realise it is not a Sophos issue, but a US government one.
If I wait until the auto update on the XG downloads and installs the update I do not need to go through the question and answer process of the website. If I choose to use the website even though I put in my v aid licence (serial number) I still have to go through the I might be a bad personb/country trying to break the US law. Now the further issue with this process is you cannot install an update on a blank device it requires a valid installation of a previous version.
And you still cannot view the backup password.
Just me grumping.

Hi folks,
the good news
1/. the mail reporting on imap and pop appears to have been fixed from messages this morning. Overnight will tell about the overall fix.
Both iPad and iPhone reported smtp failures then sent the messages.
the bad news
1/. my IoT device broke again and needs to be re-installed. It survived a number of restart but not XG upgrades. Appears to have lost the gateway again. Appears as though the wrong net mask is sent from the DHCP XG server.
2/. I cannot find in the XG reports where I downloaded the MR-6 upgrade.

Updated investigation and spelling.
