Previously asked by another, never answered... WAN quality monitor/logging?

This was asked in 2016, but never answered.  The only way I see to monitor WAN quality is to use diagnostics, but if you change the period, you start all over.  I have comcast and it goes down regularly at two locations, 1 of which has a monitor application running 24/7 on a PC, but comcast still denies it (even though techs come out and see it, they can't figure out why).  I bought 2 new XG appliances this year to replace my zyxel units, hoping I was getting new tech and performance.  It turns out a pretty interface means less functionality, the appliances are grossly underpowered for GUI, and support is bad-to-poor at best.

How do I use the XG to log WAN connection stats?  Where I live it is 2019, and I can't believe this feature isn't available or easy to find.

  • Hi,

I would love those statistics because my link is currently doing the random failing act and I can only get it fixed if I put the ISP supplied router on line to maybe catch the errors.
