Problem logging into router internally when LAN port bridged

Hi All,

Odd issue, probably something I'm not aware of, I have had it with an XG210 when LAN port 1 was bridged with ports 3 & 4, but that bridge wasn't essential so removed it to resolve the problem.

But on an XG115W I need to bridge LAN1 woth the built in WiFi (sophos) for WiFi clients to be able to access LAN resources.

The problem is, when LAN1 is bridged with the internal WiFi (sophos) I cannot log into the router using it's internal LAN address, using Chrome, I get the initial "Your connection is not private" warning, but when I click on Advanced and proceed to ... it never completed the connection.

If I remove the bridge, it works again as expected, but as mentioned I need the bridge for WiFi clients to be able to access LAN resources.

If I connect via Public IP it works fine.

Is there something I am missing here?

The previous issue I had with the XG210 that I mentioned was much the same, when I bridged LAN1 with ports 3 & 4, I couldn't log in using the LAN IP address.

Any thoughts would be much appreciated.

Thanks,

Christian
