SFM installation

Hello,

I tried to install SFM but got no luck.

I downloaded SFM 17.1.0 and ESXI 6.7.0.

If I try to build a VM with the ISO, the install states that the required hardware is not present (disk and memory).

If I try the packaged VM, the documentation don’t seams to apply (ESXI is waiting for a .OVF and a .VMDK). I tried any combination with what’s in the VI-SFMOS_17.1.0_GA.VMW02-144.zip file and only got crashes.

Did someone succeed in this process?

  • Thanks,

    Yes all files where unziped.

What I did in ESXI was create a VM from OVF and VMDK, select files uncompressed on my machine. (SFM_VM.ovf and SFM_VM-disk1.vmdk), clic next two times to validate datastore and options then my client crashed with an expected error. I did that from 2 client with 3 different browsers, also reinstalled an hypervisor this morning on a different hardware: still the same
