False Positives on IPS?

Question

I have been seeing a lot of IPS Attacks detected, after looking into the source IP's I can see they are from akamaitechnologies.com which is a used by Microsoft and other companies as a mirror site. My question is anyone seen this or been through this yet?

i would say, such packets are quite normal.

 It is quite normal to get such packets. And basically they are dropped or send to the client and the client drops them.
