Certificate error

We are currently not using decrypt and scan feature, still some users are receiving '' This site is not secure '' error when accessing google.com. When https scanning is not enable then why this error is coming, further more we are using NTLM authentication. This error come with Sophos user portal address, kindly any one assist me to resolve this issue.

The Root Cause of such an issue could be anywhere.. Would suggest to open a support Case to get a analyse of your issue.

Hello Lucar, thanks for replay, is there any initial trouble shooting steps you can recommend before we open a support case, eventually if not resolved we will be opening the case :)

Depending on your setup.

Do you use a public sign certificate?

Do you use a IP or hostname for the portal?

Do you redirect to https?

The Certificate error could be related to the https scanning, which can be activated by a console command (should not, but can be).

It is kinda hard to guess such issues, there should be a Sophos Support employee take a look at this in the live Environment.
