users jumping out of the groups i added them to

Question

so i imported users and groups from my AD, each user can be assigned to one group in XG this is not the problem BUT i have a user in accounting department for example and this user is a part of another non primary group ....XG will assign this user to the other group and when ever i try to add this user back to the primary group or the group i want this user to be in it will jump again to the other one or another random group 
 is this common thing? any idea?

I had this same issue, Sophos TAC suggested me two things: 
 1) Drag the open group to the last in the list of groups. 
 2) Authentication server priority keep AD server to the top above local.

XG uses every authentication process (like logging into XG) as a new process to check for a update on groups. 
 First match on the Group tab will be applied. So basically the first imported group will be applied.
