Chromebooks SSO - what am I missing?

Hi,

I'm trying to work out Chromebook SSO with my XG box and missing something.

I've followed the instructions below but its not working

https://community.sophos.com/kb/en-us/133044

It doesn't mention anything about setting up a web filter policy for the Chromebooks, is this right.. has anyone got this working?

If I allow all traffic instead of the google services it works.

How is it supposed to work? (I'm moving from SMoothwall)

Should it let you logon then sign you into the XG box automatically for filtering or is it supposed to prompt you for credentials.

  • The first firewall rule doesn't work, it only works for me when I open all the destinations up.

So now I have the certs on, the app login on but its saying invalid username and password.

It's possibly because I am using azure as my logon provider for Google. If the app talks to Google to check the credentials, then Google will talk to azure.. which the Sophos app cant do.. if that makes sense.
