Just wondering if anyone else has noticed strange behaviour on their firewall rules after updating firmware / MR patches recently (17.5.5 MR-5) or when adding new rules etc. They simply don't work as expected.. or just stop working.
We've basically came across 2 issues - one where we had to recreate rules to get them working again (just an exact clone - which would then work, the original still doesn't) or turning the rules off and on again (IT 101) - this was after a firmware update from 17.1.4 MR-4 to the latest 17.5.5 MR-5.
Another strange one was a simple biz rule that wouldn't work, created another rule completely separate / different but once it was saved then the original non working rule sprang into life - there was no linking on the rules, destination, ports etc were all completely different.
Not seen niggles like this on the XG's until the last couple of updates. Any one else seen anything like this?
