Dual NAT/routing and qos

Hi All

I’m looking for some pointers/help.

I have a dual WAN setup via two different ISPs. I want to be able to setup certain traffic to egress over one wan and have the other as a backup.

For example IP 172.16.0.30 goes down wan1. All other traffic in 172.16.0.0/24 goes out of wan2. Both interfaces are backups of each other.

Also for client 172.16.0.30 I want to be able to guarantee 15mbps of bandwidth?

Also in the future I might add a 4g router to the Ethernet interface. Can that also be added as a third backup?

  • Yes,, you can do that. Are you a business or home user? If a home user why don't you experiment a little?

You will need to make the firewall rule with the 0.30 address higher than the 0/24 address rule.
