XG 106 or 115 to handle my wan speed with IPS and app control enabled

Hey Guys,

I'm looking to migrate my old TZ210 to a Sophos XG. I've used the XG's before and have found them to be a great device and the price is also compelling.

My site has a 50mb wan link. I'm running a small app/web server. Number of local users is about 3-4x. I'll have about 10-150 remote connections to the app/web server (average around 60) and the bandwidth is low for the app/web server. I want to enable IPS and app control on the XG for the app/web server. Most likely have 3x VPN users. Don't need content filters, AV or email filtering.

Would the XG 106 be able to handle this and provide the full 50mb wan link, or will IPS and app control choke this? Should I consider an XG 115 instead?

What do you guys think?

Kind regards

Aaron
