Recovering my own username and password for XG Home Edition

I installed XG Firewall Home Edition last year and ended up not pursuing it further.  But, now I have more time and would like to try it again.  but, in that time I have lost or tossed my username and password for both the web login and the hardware.  Any chance of a way to get into my own system?

If not, can someone link me to the installation process so I can start over with a fresh install.

    Hi David,

    the username for the XG is admin, password id what ever you set.

    Fresh install, plug your CD drive into a USB port and boot the device and follow the instal instructions. When asked set it up for routing.

    Well, I download the latest HW-17.5.5_MR-5-433.iso.  burn to DVD, when booted, computer sounded alarm and said no appliance detected and listed all the sophos models the firmware was designed for.  Did I get the wrong download?

     

    I'm installing on an HP desktop.  (Same one as before)

    Hi David,

    you will need the software version. The hardware versions are for specific XG hardware with inbuilt security on the hard drive.
