[Sophos Notification] Advisory: Sophos Central - Some customers are receiving false positive XG Firewall connection alerts

Hi Community,

Sophos is investigating reports of some Central customers receiving false positive XG Firewall connection alerts on their dashboard, but upon further investigation on the firewall no connection issues are actually experienced.

"Firewall has not checked in with Sophos Central for the past (x) minutes"

  • Maybe a sentence to this Alerts.

    Each Firewall should alert you after 24 Hours "Downtime". 

    Actually each XG will do this with a own Counter. 

    So it is possible to still get multiple of those alerts per Day, but for each firewall, if this Appliance is actually not reachable.
