So, I am REALLy trying to give XG a chance, and with UTM, I had no problems setting up what I needed for port forwarding, NAT, whatever. It was a simple interface.
After trying XG, because I am so unfamiliar with this, it makes me feel foolish like a monkey handling a football. For the life of me, I cannot seem to get any network rule applied. Because of that, I plan on taking down XG tomorrow and going back to UTM. The videos don't have what I need, and I haven't found anything online good enough to show me visually what I need to do.
The interface, yes is simple. Yet, is more NON-user friendly than UTM is, and UTM is so much more understandable! I'm just trying to get a simple port forward for two ports I've defined to pass through to a specific server in my LAN. What I think I set up correctly, isn't even set up at all the right way, and essentially seems like this is lying to me, lol.
Sorry about the frustration, but this really isn't how something that's supposed to be "so simple" should be.
