Is your bridge showing in the network tab as a br0 or similar?

Please post a screenshot of your network settings for your bridge.

Hi,

thank you for posting the screenshot. From what I can see is you have created the bridge but not configured it. There should be an entry in the network tab for a br0 which you have added IP address and gateway.

I am not sure where you get that idea from, I am asking if you can select your bridge when  creating a firewall rule?

they are zones, I was after interfaces? An interface will be one of those zones.

Ross, you config shows 3 ports in the bridge but the network only indicates a bridge pair.

Also did you enable routing on the bridge?

Update:- I built a bridge on my XG to test the multicast function using your attempts as a guide. I think you appear to have either hit a design limitation or configuration limitation with bridges which seems a little strange?

yes i think i have also, i might try a rebuild as i have slow SSL VPN issues too

hi thanks for your reply but this didnt solve my issue, muticast forwarding works great if i dont have a bridge interface.

So i have broken my bridge up.

problem is im unable to ping devices on the other ports.

my setup

Port 1 LAN 192.168.2.3/24

Port 2 LAN 192.168.2.200/24

im unable to ping a IP camera on port 2 192.168.2.203 , i have a LAN to LAN rule in my firewall but no joy,

if i ping from the console using port2 as my interface i get a response.

Ive tried putting in static routes but i have the same issue
