After UTM update I can no longer login to my firewall.

Now when I try to login in get this error. "Can't use string ("0") as an ARRAY ref while "strict refs" in use at /core/modules/core_menu.pm line 41, line 1."

I also can not ping 8.8.8.8 from within the network. I have tried rebooting the firewall and using different browsers.

  • UTM or XG?

What can you see if you connect a display to your appliance? Does it start without errors?

  • UTM 9.6 from what I see on boot. Everything appears to be fine. I do not see any kind of errors pop up. That is after pressing f2 to view the boot process details. I also can not login to the firewall with a keyboard connected locally. I guess it's possible the account is locked out after trying it a few times in my browser unsuccessfully. I know that it being locked out is not causing this issue since I had a constant ping to 8.8.8.8 before updating/rebooting the firewall. After it came back up and my internet was working I was still not able to ping. I tried to login and on the first attempt is when I got that error. I know I typed/am typing the correct login information.
