Modem to keep phone fonction

Question

Hello, 
 I plan to deploy Sophos XG. My connection is an internet + phone pack and I&rsquo;d like to keep the phone function. I have to replace the box as it could not be configured in bridge mode (modem only). 
 Is there a solution to keep the phone provided with the broadband offer? (some premises use coper and some fibre)

Hi Justatech, 
 very much a public solution, I am a home user. 
 I setup an IP address on the external interface, could be DHCP (static), created a firewall rule 
 Source LAN, VoIP (modem), destination WAN, ANY, SIP MASQ, log and away it went.

The solution was in front of me. 
 I&rsquo;m an Orange France customer, and in that case the provided box (LiveBox) is the only equipment able to achieve the SIP connection. 
 For French customers (any provider), here is a good source of information: https://lafibre.info/ 
 I will have to put the box on the LAN and configure the XG, depending on the connection type, with an internal DHCP and the right option if it&rsquo;s a DHCP connection or, for PPPoE connection let a specific VLAN pass the XG.
