Modem to keep phone fonction

Hello,

I plan to deploy Sophos XG. My connection is an internet + phone pack and I’d like to keep the phone function. I have to replace the box as it could not be configured in bridge mode (modem only).

Is there a solution to keep the phone provided with the broadband offer? (some premises use coper and some fibre)

Thanks in advence

  • Hi,

when I migrated to NBN FTTC we were supplied with a new modem to provide a land line type service. I have it setup behind the XG as a SIP phone. Works well. Also I din't need the modem function to connect to the NBN, because the NBN box provides a 1gb/s interface.
