NAT / Port Forwarding 1 to Many

Hi,

Currently, we are doing NATing with individual Firewall Rule, e.g if we need 5 internal protected devices we are creating 5 firewall rules, is there any way have 1 firewall rules for all NATings?

Scenario:

WAN Interface/IP : C: 88.88.88.88

Internal Device 1 : 172.16.1.10

Internal Device 2 : 172.16.1.20

Internal Device 3 : 172.16.1.30

Internal Device 4 : 172.16.1.40

as the number of internal devices increasing, we do need to add firewall rules. Is there any smart way to do the same???

Thanks in advance

  • Hello ,

If you are referring to DNAT rule i.e. virtual host/port forwarding then each rule must be configured for each device. Now I am assuming that you have used different external port number and mapped them to the internal port.

You could create a Firewall rule group for you to manage them, so you could reduce the need to go through all the rules.
