Notification failed

Hi!

I tired to send a test notification from the firewall with the internal mail client and the external mail client with 2 differend email adresse (one is gmail) and the notification always go to the mail spool and the status is Failed. I have a active internet connection. What could be the reason for that?

Hi Roland,

please check using log viewer -> mail to see what the errors are?

I'm not sure if the logviewer is showing errors.

Hi Roland,

both logs ar showing the same error, you need to look at your WAN link tests to see why the XG thinks the link is failing. Usually the issue is caused by using a test device that is not reliable eg some of the famous DNS.

I tried it today with https://community.sophos.com/kb/en-us/124935 an now I can receive notifications.
