[SFOS 17.5.3] Deleting a User Activity can result in a "No records found" page

Hi,

I found a bug in the "current" firmware 17.5.3 where you delete the last User Activity on the last page, which results in a blank list of User Activities instead of listing the first page.

To reproduce you need to use either a fresh installation that happens to have the exact correct amount of User Activities to reproduce this by adding one Test User Activity "Updates" or "ZZZ" (which will make a second page appear and the new rule being the last one alphabetically), and then switching to this second page and deleting the User Activity again. In this state you either have to reload the whole site (by F5, not only refreshing it by going into another tab), or you have to use the filtering option of the table and reset it again.

I would appreciate it if someone else could verify this so I can either explain my steps better or see what also needs to be done to reproduce this.

Thanks in advance and Best Regards,

Daniel

  • Wait WHAT? Nooooo

I am under Web - User Activities. That's why we are in the Web Protection forums here. I deleted a "User Activity", nothing with users. I never used the word Accounting....

  • Hi Daniel,

I was able to repeat your steps and did get a blank report. I then cleared the filter which caused the first page to refill. Why the filter, why not see if it had something stuck in it as a result of the deleted user activity. Finally yes, it is a bug you should not have to clear the filter after deleting an activity.
