Site to Site VPN dropping traffic

Hello,

 

We are noticing an issue with a number of customers that have multiple offices. Some of the newer offices use Sophos XG firewalls while the older/original offices still have a cyberoam product in place. While we are working towards moving everything to Sophos, that cannot happen over night.

 

I have noticed that those that have a Sophos on one side and a Cyberoam on the other side have been having their site to site VPN drop traffic although the VPN shows it is active. I am able to drop the connection and then pick it back up and traffic will route properly. Sometimes the connection will stay valid for a day or two, other times it will only route traffic for about 15 minutes.

 

I have all the necessary rules in place and have multiple VPN connections between all of our customers but the issue always seem to be when a Sophos is connecting to a Cyberoam. Any suggestions?
