Portmapping SSH

Hi together,

XG 17.5 or 17.6

I realized that the feature "Change Destination Port" for business rules is only available when only TCP is used for the protocol definition. Not TCP and UDP (as needed for SSH).

So in conclusion there is no change to listen to ssh on port 600 and forward to 22?

  • XG cannot simply change the port for UDP / TCP in one rule because TCP/UDP is consider as 2 ports.

You need to use two Rules, if you want to change UDP and TCP SSH.

This is kinda a limitation of the XG Webadmin and is addressed for a future release.
