DHCP Server works what they want... Issue with DHCP lease

Hello everybody,

On the beginnig I want to imagine my issue with DHCP Server on XG 210. First, I have all setup as in manual. DHCP server on XG with address scope on VLAN. And then. I have two VLAN's, 10 & 100. For those VLAN's I made DHCP server's with their range. For VLAN 10 is all works fine. But in VLAN 100 I have issue with lease addresses.  Some computers let the IP address but other doesn't. All day I have searching the ideas also on this forum and I have't any idea whats going wrong. I am wondering about this situation when I have these same configuration on both networks, but one doesn't work as the second.

My network:

On port1:

VLAN10 - 192.168.10.0

VLAN100 - 192.168.0.0

DHCP scope for VLAN10: 192.168.10.50 - 100

DHCP scope for VLAN100: 192.168.0.150 - 220

TAGS are setup properly on switchs

Also tried with dhcp-scope from CLI, but with no result.

  • So DHCP is workig for 192.168.10.50-100 but not for 192.168.0.150-220?

Is there anything different with the computers that like the new scope vs the ones that do not?  Have you cleaned out the ARP Table on all the switches/computers involved?

  • Yes, but in 0.X not working for all clients.

    No, all is the same.

But, I didn't clean ARP on switches... maybe it is... For sure I look at dhcpd.leases entries and... there also everything looks good. I'll see tomorrow how to behave my clients again and I let you know. I think that is an error somewhere in DHCP lease list(?) or maybe one client let two leases.
