XG Home fails to boot

Hi all,

I have a side project where I have tried to use one of these:

To load XG Home - the unit has a Celeron CPU, 4Gb RAM and a Kingston SSD - all NIC Ports are Intel.

The issue I face is I can run the XG Home installer and it appears to work fine and I get to the music at the end where I need to remove the USB Boot device and reboot. As soon as this happens I get the Cannot Find Boot Device.

I have tried everything I can see and BIOS see's the SSD fine. The BIOS is pretty basic on this device and rfcat_vk suggested it was not waiting to find the SSD at Boot - I have no setting for this in BIOS.

Anyone have any suggestions on what I might try?

hi it seems i have encountered this one on my past setup of xg home (far as i remember it looked like this one)

Thanks Raphael,

I am past this stage and have loaded XG Home from the USB.

My issue is then booting the device to XG OS - the installer lets me load the OS on the SSD but when I go to boot the device it cannot find any boot device.
