I have an XG box with a WIFI accesspoint attached to the XG on Port1.666, ip 1.2.3.1/24. DHCP is assigning ip addresses in the range 1.2.3.0/24. I want to be able to track some IP-host, so i assign a static ip mapping to the mac address of this host eg 00:01:aa:bb:cc gets ip 1.2.3.10.
Because of coverage issues i have an other accesspoint on Port1 with ip address 1.2.4.1/24. In this other subnet there is also a DHCP server....., but i do NOT get an ip address in that subnet, i even do not get a ip address at all. There is only a ip address assigned via Port1 when i remove the static ip mapping.
What i would like to do:
Port1 static ip mapping 1.2.3.10 mac 00:01:aa:bb:cc
Port1.666 static ip mapping 1.2.4.10 mac 00:01:aa:bb:cc
In this way i am able to create policy's and assign these to specific hosts.
