Sophos UTM to XG Questions

Hello,

i would like to migrate my Sophos UTM Home to Sophos XG. Is there yet also an migration tool available for home users?

I have on my Sophos UTM all my network devices created under Definitions and Users - Network Definitions for example:

Name: AP

Type: Host

IPv4: 192.168.x.x

NO DHCP

DNS: ap.xx.local

Reverse DNS marked

How do i create the Network Definitions in XG yet?

I have in Sophos UTM also Multipath Rules created, where i find the Multipath Rules in XG?

Thx

Sally

  • XG handles this differently and as such does not have the UTM's equivalent of Network Definitions.

On the UTM you create a single record that includes the client's MAC address(es) and the IP-address, which can then be used for DHCP.

In XG this is all handled in different areas - no comprehensive single component like Network Definitions.

  • thanks for the reply. So how would it be handled in XG ? Also where I find the Multipath Rules in XG?

    Thx

    Sally
