Sophos XG Firewall . Internal Atheros Wifi Card

Hello, I would like to know if it is possible to use the Atheros internal WiFi card to make an access point on XG Firewall home.

Hello alexandr,

The OS is not compatible to detect wifi cards external or internal. You may use another router as a AP for your home.

Only if you want to manage it from the XG otherwise you can use any AP.

Hi,

i installed UTM 9.6 yesterday and integrated WiFi was fine with UTM Home.
It´s very disappointing, that Sophos drops the Atheros WiFi Card in XG Home.

UTM 9.6 is much faster on SG105W with 4GB than XG 17.5.4
