Traffic Shaping QOS / Bandwidth - KiloBytes per Second or Kilobits per Second

Hello All,

I'm confused with the way Sophos Traffic Shaping works. Most importantly the Admin Guide - It says that the Traffic Shaping Bandwidth is calculated in KiloBytes/s (KBps), while I felt it works in kilobits/s (Kbps).

Recently I did the math as suggested in the Admin guide and applied the bandwidth values in KBps in Firewall Rules (I am not using Clientless users), I've a 15Mbps 1:1 ILL, everything was working as if I was in the era of 56Kbps PSTN modems. The moment I changed the bandwidth values to kbps, everything is working smooth.

Also, what is with the Total Available WAN Bandwidth.

Any help to understand all this in simple words is much appreciated.  Thanks in advance.
