AP's inactive after 17.5.1MR3 and AP 11.0.006 f/w updates

Today I updated by XG125 to 17.5.1 MR3 plus updated the AP firmware to 11.0.006 for the XG. Now my AP55's have turned all in to inactive. When I added a new AP to have at least something, it was available at first, but then also became inactive.

As the AP cannot directly be accessed to verify its status, does anyone have a suggestion on how to find a solution (or cause)?

  • Hi Martin,

how are the APs connected to the XG? Do they show in the DHCP server listings of assigned addresses?

  • Hi Ian,

The AP's are connected via a Netgear PoE switch as is the XG. I just added a formerly used AP55 and AP55C and after booting and probably updating their firmware, they are shown as active and working. One difference with the two not working/inactive ones (that worked fine until this morining's updates) is that the non-working ones do not ask/get an IP-address and have the LED's on continuesly and the working ones only flashing with traffic. Would this show corrupt firmware? An thus; can this be fixed in anyway?
