Issues with IPSec VPN

Hello,

I have an IPSec tunnel set up between my XG and a Remote Windows computer using ShrewSoft VPN client.

The Tunnel is established and connected but I cannot ping through the firewall. Remote > XG pings work fine, but Remote> lan Fails. Also Lan> Remote fails as well.

I have rules created on the firewall but no matter what i change, i cant get a ping to go through. Any Ideas?

Seems like the Firewall Rules are not hitting.

Maybe start with Tcpdump.

Or check out the drop packet capture.

Another approach: Use LAN to VPN Zone. Check if those rules match without Network objects.

I can ping the unit from the firewall, but not from behind it either direction.

However via L2TP bi directional pings work fine.
