multicast routing process fails when disabled

Hi,

I was trying out multicast routing to see if I could assist in another thread. I enabled multicast routing in the routing tab, not a problem. I currently do not have any devices using multicast so it was just an experiment to see what happened.

When you disable multicast routing process SMRD stops and causes the service indicator in the GUI to go orange. There are two ways to return the services indicator to greenI suspect, one is a reboot and the other is to enable multicast routing.

To me this looks like a bug, If I have disabled a process it should not be bringing up alarms.

  • I suspect another little bug with multicast routing. If you click the apply button you get a message advising multicast routing has been disabled, but it was not enabled in the first place. Services still shows fail in the GUI.
