I'm having a struggle with mail protection as I can't understand the logic of the MTA and if it can work in my case. I have a mail provider outside my network. Can I use the MTA with that setup? Problem is that the spam filter is not good enough on the provider and I'm almost always on the road so transparent proxy doesn't do. I want the incoming mails at least to go through sophos for checking and then delivered. Outgoing not so much but it's a plus if it can work.
WAN ip on sfos is static but rdns isn't available if needed.
Any ideas?
